 Welcome to plinth4



My name's Karl Jones.

I live in Stourbridge.


My main job's being a husband and a dad.


I have another job as a

Community Children's Nurse.


I like both my jobs...

though they can be quite  

demanding.


I also like art.



When I heard about Antony Gormley's plan

for The 4th Plinth in Trafalgar Square

I thought it was inspired.

I was stunned when I found out

I'd got the chance

to take part.


I decided to use my

hour on the plinth

to raise money for


THE  ACORNS

CHILDREN'S

HOSPICE.



Health & Safety didn't permit the use

of a bouncy castle so, instead,

 I painted a picture

of something I could see

from the plinth.

Aa-rt,

the new art gallery in Stourbridge

Town Centre, is giving people the chance to own the painting for £1
